Charlotte Harris Charlotte Harris is a founder of the Boston Women's Heritage Trail. In 1989, she co-wrote the original proposal to establish the trail. A former Connecticut high school teacher, she worked for the Boston Public Schools from 1981 until her retirement in 2005, most recently as Director of External Funds for BPS. She is most interested in the trail programs in the schools and in connecting women's history in Boston over the centuries to current student interests and issues.
