Join us for an inspiring evening as we welcome Dr. Alexandria Russell, the new Executive Director of the Boston Women’s Heritage Trail, for a book talk and signing celebrating her latest work:
Black Women Legacies: Public History Sites Seen and Unseen
This special event honors the lives, stories, and lasting impact of Black women throughout history — and marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the BWHT under Dr. Russell’s visionary leadership. Her work, which centers the voices and experiences of Black women, powerfully reflects the BWHT’s mission to make women’s history visible in every Boston neighborhood.
The BWHT is dedicated to celebrating and preserving the contributions of women to Boston’s history through walking tours, public art, and community storytelling.
